Starch Works

I have it on good authority that starches make you fat. BigPharma agrees. I do not. Let's see who is right.

Day 32 - Starch Solution

Today’s stats:

Beans for breakfast again today, although I woke up early enough to get in the full range of stats. Weight is back down a little, and the trend is holding quite nicely. It’s quite possible that I’ll drop below 90KG within the next two weeks which is pretty exciting. Though as I mentioned, that’s more for fun than any real requirement - I won’t throw this in if I haven’t gotten below 90KG by the end of the month :)

For lunch I ended up eating out at a coffee shop, which meant I ended up with a coffee. I had the aero-press which is pretty effective for removing most of the acid and nasties from the coffee. In some ways it just tastes like a weaker brew, and I didn’t get any real impact from it but it was nice to be sociable. I didn’t eat the food, it was way too off the beaten path for me but I really didn’t fancy any of their selected herbal teas.

That meant I ate lunch later when I got back to the office, so that wasn’t until 3pm or so. My lunch seems to be getting later and later although I haven’t found that to be a particular problem.

I won’t go into any detail about dinner, because it was, as usual, pretty much the same. I’m still not bored of it and now I’ve found that I’m starting to really like potatoes. I swear they’re starting to taste even better, although that could just be my mind playing tricks on me. But I am now getting quite disappointed if the potato is missing from my bowl.

Mmmmmm potato….
