Another reasonably quiet day today with a late start. I’ve written another quick blog post about using trend following which is something I found pretty useful from a previous diet plan that I tried. I think it would go a long way to helping a lot of people stay the course, especially when they realise that what the scale says is merely just a snapshot at that instant in time.

In any case I skipped breakfast again today and didn’t have lunch until around 1pm. I might have had a banana in the morning, but honestly, I can’t remember now. I started getting hungry again around 5:30 which wasn’t so bad and grabbed a couple of bananas. This is a lot less than I would eat at work for example and I’m not entirely sure why. Maybe I’m just adapting to the new food sources or maybe I just use my brain more at work. Be interesting to try and find out what the correlation there is…

I’ve also spent a good couple of hours this evening watching through some lectures from the last McDougall Advanced Study Weekend and have watched a moving and powerful lecture from Chef AJ, followed by one on aging and avoiding nutritional pitfalls by Dr. Michael Klaper. All really good stuff, both entertaining and full of information. Hopefully there are enough lectures to keep me going until the part of my plant nutrition certificate starts on the 23rd…
